Adam Brock
Adam Brock is a Denver native and a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, with a concentration in Ecological Design. His studies included a semester of sustainable design at the Ecosa Institute in Prescott, Arizona; a Permaculture design course led by Andrew Faust; and a Permaculture Teacher Training course led by Dave Jacke.
Adam has been active as a permaculture practitioner and advocate since 2008. He is a contributor to Permaculture Activist Magazine, and has taught at the Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute's annual PDC since 2009. For the last three years, he has served as co-founder and Director of Operations at The GrowHaus, a 20,000 square-foot indoor farm and education canter in Northeast Denver's Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Adam collaborates with numerous sustainability- and social justice-oriented groups in the Front Range, and is a member of Denver's Sustainable Food Policy Council.

Jason Gerhardt
Jason Gerhardt has been practicing and teaching permaculture design in diverse bioregions from the deserts of Arizona to the fresh water lakes of New York since 2005. As an emerging voice of permaculture in the US he is known for detailed knowledge of plant ecologies, urban food production, rainwater harvesting, and seed biodiversity preservation. His practical application of permaculture includes jointly facilitating the development of a bioregional seed endeavor (Abbo-Regional Seeds), selection based plant breeding, and developing sustainable food producing landscapes on small and large scales.
Jason has been featured in many publications and currently teaches a permaculture design certificate program for Naropa University. He also co-instructs a PDC for Prescott College in Arizona, offers workshops through Transition Colorado, and co-instructs an 8-month PDC with High Altitude Permaculture on the Front Range of Colorado. Jason practices permaculture design professionally as Real Earth Design: Permaculture Landscapes and Education.

Laura Ruby
Laura Ruby earned her Permaculture Design Certificate in 2002 from Crystal Waters EcoVillage in Australia. Since then, she has been implementing permaculture systems on her own urban property in downtown Boulder, CO, and for her clients in the area. Laura worked as the Garden Coordinator for a local non-profit, the Growe Foundation, for 3.5 years. Through this organization, she helped establish gardens at 14 Boulder Valley School District Elementary schools, working to install gardens, teach various garden related subjects and offer support for the school communities. To compliment her work in schools, Laura also started YummyYards, an edible landscape design and consulting company. She is both a Certified Permaculture Teacher, a Colorado Master Gardener, and holds an MBA in Sustainable Business Development from Green Mountain College.
